The Diocese of Northwest Texas provides information and resources for employee medical and dental coverage, including current rates, enrollment and change forms, plan comparison materials, vision benefits, and Employee Assistance Program resources. Congregations are required to provide parity in medical coverage between eligible clergy and lay employees working at least 1,500 hours annually. The page also includes guidance for employees who may opt out of Medical Trust coverage and information for employees age 65 and older who are approaching Medicare eligibility.
Pension benefits are available to eligible clergy and lay employees who work 1,000 hours or more per year. The diocesan pension resources page provides forms for clergy assignments and changes, as well as enrollment and personal-information forms for lay employees. These resources are intended to help congregations and employees manage pension enrollment and keep employment information current.
